St. John stuns Entiat

Eagles' three-pointers lead way to 57-46 victory

Alli Winters scored a game-high 18 points to lead St. John-Endicott over fourth-ranked Entiat 57-46 in the Class 1B girls state basketball consolation bracket on Friday.

Kelsey Simon added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Eagles, who will meet Pateros at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for fourth and seventh places.

The Eagles knocked down 10 3-pointers in the game. Emma Raynor's trey with 2:44 to go in the first half broke a 20-20 tie and lifted SJ-E into the lead for good.

Jamie Wilson scored 15 points to lead Entiat, which finished its year at 21-4. Taylor Montgomery added 13 points, and Deanna Bahena pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
