Eli Driessen and Wade Gebbers each poured in 19 points to lead Brewster to fourth place in the Class 1A boys state tournament with a 61-51 win over Seattle Academy on Saturday.

Gebbers made 6 of 15 shots and Driessen 6 of 17 as the Bears rolled up a 17-point lead midway through the fourth quarter cruised to the victory. Driessen swished three 3-pointers and Gebbers two.

The Bears (24-6) earned their ninth straight state trophy and 26th overall. Seattle Academy (15-13) earned its first-ever trophy in just its second state appearance.

Brewster held a 34-21 rebounding advantage. Stockton Taylor pulled down eight, and Driessen and Jesse Villalobos each grabbed five.

Gebbers collected six of the team's nine steals.

Rian Claxton scored 16 points and Patrick McMahon added 10 for SA, which made 50 percent of its shots (21 of 42) for the game.

The Bears put the game away at the free-throw line, making 18 of 19 attempts, including all 10 tries in the first half.
