Jaicee Harris scored 25 points and pulled down 18 rebounds as sixth-ranked Chelan held off Cascade 55-51 on Friday in the consolation bracket of the Class 1A girls state tournament.

The win sends the Goats (22-6) into Saturday's 8:30 a.m. game for fifth and eighth places.

It was the fifth meeting between the two teams this year. The Goats won four of the five.

Kelli Bowers added 12 points for Chelan, which held 12-point leads twice in the first half before Cascade battled back.

The Kodiaks took two brief leads in the fourth quarter before Chelan's Jamie Brunner hit two free throws with 3:58 to play that gave the Goats a 40-38 lead.

Ashley Wright scored 15 points to lead Cascade and Leah Newell had 11. Amber West grabbed nine rebounds.

Cascade ended its year at 19-10.
