Michelle Teng led her Vikings with 14 points as ninth-ranked Bellevue Christian rolled past Burbank 34-20 on Wednesday in the first round of the Class 1A girls state tournament.

Teng's field goal with 5:52 to play in the first half pushed the Vikings ahead to stay, 6-5, and sparked an 11-0 run that propelled BC to a 15-5 halftime lead. Burbank didn't get closer than five points the rest of the game.

Terra Oldham added 12 points, four blocked shots, three steals and a game-high 11 rebounds for the Vikings (21-3).

Tiffany Idler led the Coyotes (15-9) with 11 points, and Nicole Roberts snared 10 rebounds.
