Wellpinit races to win
Seyler's 3-pointers, 26 points pace Redskins' 69-46 victory

Kennedy Seyler poured in a game-high 26 points as Wellpinit raced to a
69-46 opening-round win over Lake Quinault in the Class 1B boys state
tournament Wednesday.
Cody Flett added 17 points and 12 rebounds and Billy Flett scored 11
points for the Redskins, who rolled out to a 25-18 lead after the first
quarter.
Lake Quinault never got closer than seven, and trailed by as many as 24
points late in the game.
The Redskins made 29 of 66 shots (43.9 percent), including 19 of 35
(54.3 percent) in the first half. Seyler and Cody Flett each had 12
points in the first half, and Billy Flett scored all his points in the
first half.
Cody Flett sank 5 of 14 3-pointers. Besides his game-high rebounds, he
also had three assists, two blocked shots and a steal.
Cameron Pumphrey led the Elks with 16 points, Cameron Daniels added 12
and Michael Mayton 11.
