Pateros hangs on in OT
Wilson, Harvey power Billygoats to 51-49 win over Taholah

Abram Wilson scored on a putback with 35
seconds to play, and Taholah couldn't pull off a last-second shot again
as Pateros edged the Chitwhins 51-49 in overtime Thursday at the Class
1B boys state tournament.
Taholah sent the game into overtime after
James Black drained a 3-pointer with two seconds left that knotted the
score at 44-44.
Urijah Willis put the Chitwhins ahead by
sinking a 3-pointer to open overtime, but Blayne Harvey answered with
his own trey about a minute later. Black and Harvey traded baskets later
in the extra period before Wilson's winning shot.
Taholah missed two shots in the final 28
seconds to tie the game again.
Wilson and Harvey poured in game-highs of
20 points each. Wilson also pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds for the
Billygoats, who improved to 15-10.
Urijah Willis led Taholah with 13 points.
Black and Elijah Miller each added eight.
Taholah ended its season at 10-13.
