Oakville tames Lions
Peterson leads Acorns to 67-47 consolation victory

Berry Peterson scored 14 of his game-high
25 points in the second half as Oakville powered past North Sound
Christian 67-47 on Thursday in the Class 1B boys state tournament
consolation bracket.
Izaha Powell added 20 points, 10 rebounds,
four assists and three steals for the Acorns, who improved to 21-2.
Oakville took the lead for good late in
the first quarter and never looked back. At one point, the Acorns led by
31 points (58-27).
Tucker Reinitz chipped in 13 points for
the Acorns, who shot 50 percent (25 of 50) from the field.
Jeremy Waller led the Lions with 19
points, and teammate Ian Watson pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds.
Daron Otis added 10 points and a pair of steals.
North Sound Christian ended its year at
12-13.
