Yarbro leads MLC's win
Lions' late surge puts 60-43 victory out of reach for Curlew

Riggs Yarbro scored a game-high 26 points and Adrian Moffet added 15 as
top-ranked Moses Lake Christian pulled away from Curlew for a 60-43
Class 1B boys state quarterfinal victory Thursday.
Yarbro canned 10 of 15 shots and 6 of 7 free throws. He scored five of
his 16 second-half points during a 12-4 midway through the fourth
quarter that put the game out of reach.
Isaac Murrell chipped in 11 points for the Lions, including hitting
three 3-pointers.
The win sends the Lions (22-2) into Friday's 8 p.m. semifinal game.
Jordon Wakefield paced the Cougars (19-6) with 23 points and 14
rebounds.
Moses Lake Christian dominated the backboards, 41-27. Yarbro pulled down
15, including 10 offensive rebounds.
