Kelsey Moser scored a game-high 17 points to lead top-ranked Colton to a 66-15 win over Wishkah Valley in the first round of the Class 1B girls state tournament Wednesday.

The Wildcats, who improved to 21-0, scored the first 32 points of the game. Wishkah Valley scored its first points on a 3-pointer by Rachael Carlisle with 5:49 to play in the second quarter.

Mollie Kramer added 13 points for the Wildcats. McKenzie Heaslet pulled down eight rebounds as Colton outrebounded Wishkah Valley 45-28.

Jacie Johnson scored five points for the Loggerettes.

Colton's defense snared 26 steals, including five by Moser.

Wishkah Valley committed 43 turnovers.
