Esther Timofeyev scored 12 points and pulled down a game-high 19 rebounds as Moses Lake Christian eliminated Wishkah Valley from the Class 1B girls state tournament Thursday with a 33-22 victory.

Timofeyev scored seven points in the second half as the Lions (10-9) shut out Wishkah Valley with a 12-0 run in the third quarter to put the game away.

Timofeyev also had eight blocks, two steals and one assist. Teammate Kristina Firouzi chipped in 11 points.

Jacie Johnson paced the Loggerettes with 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Brittany Lovell had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Wishkah Valley ended its season at 12-12.
