John Fullington scored 19 points and teammate Brett Skogstad added 18 as fourth-ranked North Mason whipped Sultan 62-46 on Thursday in the Class 2A boys state tournament consolation bracket.

Rocky Guimont chipped in 11 points for the Bulldogs (19-5), who couldn't put the game away until late in the fourth, when Guimont swished two free throws and Skogstad added three more for a 57-46 lead with 1:47 to play.

Skogstad scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half, while Fullington had 12 of his in the first half.

Fullington pulled down a game-high 19 rebounds, and Skogstad grabbed 10. The Bulldogs outrebounded Sultan 47-35.

Jordan Nicholes scored 15 points, Zach Beebe had 13 and Michael La Munyon 11 for the Turks (15-11).
