Eric Martin poured in a game-high 22 points as Quincy held off Hockinson for a 42-32 consolation-round victory Thursday at the Class 2A boys state tournament.

Fourteen of Martin's points came in the second half, as the Jackrabbits (17-8) never let Hockinson get closer than six points.

Jay Cedergreen added eight points for Quincy.

Martin also pulled down a team-high seven of Quincy's 37 rebounds, and had three assists and three steals.

Joshua Hall led the Hawks (13-12) with 17 points and eight rebounds.
