Eagles soar past Toledo
Gunderson, Erickson score 13 each in Lakeside victory

Ryan Gunderson and Jacob
Erickson each chipped in 13 points to lead Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls
over Toledo 40-29 in a Class 1A boys state consolation game Thursday.
Bo Smokoska pushed
Lakeside ahead to stay with a putback with 5:53 to play in the third
that gave the Eagles a 19-17 lead. Smokoska finished with eight points.
Erickson pulled down
nine rebounds as Lakeside powered to a 47-39 rebounding edge. Gunderson
grabbed eight and Smokoska six. Gunderson also blocked two shots.
Joe Jordan scored nine
points for Toledo, which shot just 21 percent (11 of 53) in the game.
Jesse Wallace grabbed
10 rebounds for the Indians.
Lakeside improved to
12-14.
