Kara Staggs scored a game-high 18 points to lead fifth-ranked Okanogan past Cedar Park Christian 61-25 on Wednesday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

The Bulldogs (22-2) put the game away by outscoring the Eagles (15-8) 37-14 over the middle two quarters. Staggs scored 14 of her points in the second quarter.

Morgan Kerr chipped in 11 point for Okanogan, and Kerr and Jameka Townsend each pulled down six rebounds.

The Bulldogs shot 52 percent (25 of 48) while CPC made just 22 percent (9 of 41) of its shots.

Rachel Staudacher led CPC with 12 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.

CPC committed 27 turnovers, which Okanogan converted into 27 points. The Bulldogs also finished with 13 steals, including five from Kerr.
