Eagles turn back 'Dogs

Lakeside holds off Okanogan, will play for fourth place

Kendra Lahue scored 13 points and Alex Daggy added 12 as Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls beat Okanogan 38-29 on Friday in the Class 1A girls consolation bracket.

The win sends the Eagles (23-4) into Saturday's 1:30 p.m. contest for fourth and seventh places.

Leslie Stillar pulled down six rebounds to lead Lakeside, and Lahue and Lexie Zappone each grabbed five. Lahue and Stillar had four and three steals, respectively.

Jameka Townsend scored 13 points for the Bulldogs (22-4).

Neither team shot well: Lakeside converted 31 percent (15 of 49) of its shots and Okanogan made 32 percent (13 of 41).
