Kelli Bowers' 3-pointer with three minutes to play pushed Chelan into the lead for good, and the Goats held off Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls 46-43 on Saturday for fourth place in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

Bowers finished with 12 points and Jaicee Harris 10 as Chelan (23-5) won its 10th trophy in 12 state appearances.

Bowers' trey gave the Goats a 41-39 lead. Chelan sank two free throws and got baskets from Taylor McClellan and Harris down the stretch to keep Lakeside at bay.

Lexi Zappone led the Eagles (23-5) with 20 points and Leslie Stillar added 10. Zappone canned 6 of 9 3-point attempts.

Harris grabbed 12 rebounds, blocked two shots and came up with two steals.

Chelan shot 37 percent (14 of 38) for the game while Lakeside made just 23 percent (15 of 65) of its shots.

Lakeside earned its 10th trophy in 11 appearances at state.
