Cusick ousts Wishkah

Heinen leads Panthers' 32-17 win with 13 points

Andrea Heinen scored 13 points as Cusick's Panthers defeated Wishkah Valley 32-17 on Thursday in the consolation bracket of the Class 1B girls state tournament.

The Panthers (12-14) led from the start, and effectively put the game out of reach with an 11-6 run throughout the third quarter.

Heinen and Jamie Cutshall each grabbed 10 rebounds for Cusick. Heinen also snared eight of her team's 23 steals.

Brittany Lovell, Taylor Benner and Jessica Pauley each scored 4 points for the Loggerettes (12-12).
