Hunters stops Neah Bay

Osborn, Loe lead Columbia's 57-26 first-round victory

Lindsay Loe scored all 11 of her points in the first half, as Columbia of Hunters built up a big halftime advantage and rolled to a 57-26 first-round victory over Neah Bay in the Class 1B girls state tournament Wednesday.

The Lions (22-4) rolled out to a 36-10 halftime lead and never looked back. Selena Osborn added nine of her game-high 13 points before intermission.

Loe had 12 of the Lions' 62 rebounds, and Mackenzie Parrow and Casey Kieffer pulled down 10 each.

Erica Fonzi led Neah Bay (21-1) with 10 points, and Stephanie Greene grabbed nine rebounds.

The Red Devils shot just 16 percent (10 of 16) for the game, while Columbia made 31 percent (21 of 68).
