Emily Scott sank a 8-foot jumper with three seconds left, giving King's Way-Seton its first-ever state victory with a 33-31 overtime win over Lummi in the Class 1B girls state tournament Thursday.

King's Way-Seton (8-14), which made its state tournament debut Wednesday, trailed much of the contest, but rallied to tie the game twice in regulation, the last time on a Scott 3-pointer with 1:01 remaining that knotted the score at 26.

Each team missed a pair of field-goal tries, forcing the extra period.

The Knights took the lead twice in OT, only to have Lummi (8-14) tie it again. Rosie Jefferson's putback with 13 seconds left tied the score the final time.

Scott finished with a game-high 15 points, and Cheyenne Cunning added nine.

Kyla Frajman led Lummi with nine points, and Mary Banks pulled down nine rebounds.
