Coulter leads B-E win
Senior poures in 21 points to lead Tigers' 67-42 victory

Evan Coulter scored a
game-high 21 points to lead third-ranked Burlington-Edison to a 67-42
victory over Tumwater in the first round of the Class 2A boys state
tournament Wednesday.
Craig Babington and
Jacob Schifferel, who each finished with 12 points, scored four apiece
during a 13-0 B-E run early in the second quarter that put the Tigers
(20-4) up 29-11 with 4:29 to play before the half.
Tumwater (12-12),
which never led, didn't get closer than 10 points in the second half.
The Tigers show 45
percent (26 of 58) in the game, including 54 percent (13 of 24) in the
second half. Tumwater made 35 percent (17 of 48) of its shots.
Jordan Boede scored 12
points to lead the Thunderbirds.
Tumwater hurt its
cause with 21 turnovers, which B-E converted into 19 points.
