Scott Kirkpatrick sank two free throws with 2 seconds left in overtime as Mark Morris rallied from an early deficit to beat Fife 64-63 on Saturday for fourth place in the Class 2A boys state tournament.

Kirkpatrick's free throws came after Fife's Cameron Hayes drove for a basket with 2 seconds left that put the Trojans (22-6) up 63-62. But Fife's Anthony Brescia was whistled for a foul after the shot, which sent Kirkpatrick to the line for two shots.

After his free throws, Kirkpatrick stole the ball as time expired.

Fife's Maazin Butler sent the game into overtime after he sank a running 3-pointer to knot the score at 56 as the regulation buzzer sounded.

Mark Morris (23-4) fell behind 14-2 in the early going but cut its deficit to 26-25 at halftime, and led by six, 52-46, midway through the fourth quarter.

Kirkpatrick scored a game-high 26 points, while Zach Tackwell added 13, Dalton Thacker 12 and Sean Atkins 10.

Brescia led the Trojans with 13 points, Hayes had 12 and Butler and Thomas Darneille each scored 11.
