Ryleigh Swagerty's 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter put Burlington-Edison ahead and the Tigers went on for a 41-37 quarterfinal victory over Eatonville on Thursday in the Class 2A girls state tournament.

Trailing 26-18 late in the third, B-E went on a 14-0 run over the next six minutes, 10 seconds that gave the Tigers (22-3) a 32-26 lead with 4:29 to play.

Ellary Torset scored six of her eight points during that run, and Swagerty had five.

Brenna Anderson led B-E with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Becca Schrimpsher scored 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds for Eatonville (20-4).

The Tigers, who shot just 14 percent (3 of 21) in the first half, converted 11 of 23 shots (48 percent) after intermission.
