Schramm, Harris lead Goats with 13 points each

Kristin Schramm and Katie Harris combined for 22 of their 26 points in the second half to lead Chelan to a 52-44 win over White Pass in the Tourneytown.com Shootout on Monday.

Harris had 12 of her 13 points and Schramm 10 of her 13 after intermission for the Goats, who rallied from an eight-point second-quarter deficit to improve to 11-1 overall.

Harris' seven steals also set a Shootout record and snapped the old mark of six held by three players. She also had five assists.

White Pass, which slipped to 6-6, was led by Breanna Moody's game-high 15 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Deanna Riffe added 14 points and 13 rebounds, including 11 boards in the first half.

The Panthers dominated the boards, pulling down 44 rebounds to Chelan's 29. Maddie Miller had a team-high seven rebounds for the Goats.

Schramm scored seven of her team's first nine points in the third quarter to push the Goats ahead to stay, 35-32. White Pass never got closer.

Both teams were making their Shootout debut.

The game was marred by fouls -- 19 whistles were racked up in the first 10:02 of the game.
